The area around Salzburg is characterised by plenty and diverse nature in the surrounding mountains. At the same time, Salzburg has a long history and culture, which is vivid until today. The area is very popular by tourists all over the world and people living there. The disadvantage is that it increases the pressure and makes it increasingly difficult to keep the balance between nature and human impact such as settlements.
