While many people may associate California solely with beaches and the ocean, the Sierra Nevada mountains are extremely photogenic. It is not by chance that the most iconic national parks (Yosemite, Sequoia) are located in California. A geographer enjoys the unique landscapes that are definitely worthwhile to visit. Whether the landscape was shaped by glaciers, the ocean at the coast, or whether there is another unique constellation with endemic species - it is definitely recommended to have an open eye during a visit.
This album aims to capture the Sierra Nevada landscape. Admittedly, it has a slight preference towards the awesome California evenings and sunsets during which the light turns almost pink.
